Ozark mountains
Sunday we travel 1.5 minutes to a state park. It was gorgeous. We bought a season pass so that it can be the regular park we take the girls to.
It is based around the Meramec spring. Crystal clear waters, neatly set-up ways to see the trout and how they travel to the spring, fishing areas, two playgrounds, antique displays of wagons, how wagon wheels were made, and several other great displays. It’s part of “Iron works days.”
(I did not enhance the colors in the photos, they are actually that amazing!)
Different stages of the trout. small to large, which then move into a special fishing area of the spring.
This is the park’s “powerhouse.” Has a cuter house been built? I don’t think so.
This was the view to the left of the first picture in the post. (It was stormy off in the distance.)
I absolutely love this photo! Lately I have had to say something along the lines of “Hey! What’s that?” to get her to glance in the direction of the camera. I have a split second to snap what will hopefully be a good photo. They don’t always turn out clear, and with her eyes open!
Grandpa love…is there anything sweeter?
Penelope playing with Noah, and her favorite toy – rocks. :)
The white area is a sun reflection. In the very top right corner is a small cave-like opening where Joe and Koda were posing.
Uncles are the best!
It was another beautifully wonderful day!
Looks like a fun day had by all!
