Sunday the weather didn’t get above 54 degrees. It was beautiful! We decided to bundle up and spend what we could outside enjoying it.
*Penelope took some photos as well…I’ll let you decided which ones she took.
Hot chocolate, gloves, hats, blankets, scarves and a covered wagon and we were ready to brave the cold at the Meremac.
A river lined with fishermen and colored leaves blowing from one side to the other makes for a magical morning.
As many trips as we have made to this park we had yet to go to the “rickety” bridge. Seemed like the day for it.
Zack and I in the same photo?? I can’t remember the last time this happened.
“Look, Mom, boff!”
She is classy.
After our walk we ate at the “Pick and Shovel Café” they have on the property.
We borrowed Uncle Greg’s trailer to give kids a ride at Penelope’s party on Saturday, but it rained all day. We decided to take it for a spin before we returned it.
Maple eying Penelope’s kouke.
Amelia has grown to love Maple, however, sad puppy eyes did not win her Mia’s cucumber either.
It was a wonderful day!! I hope there will be many more like it this season!
