It’s eleven a.m. Saturday morning. The highest temperature for the day is 56. Your home is reasonably clean. There is an amazing playground placed in a gorgeous state park two shakes and a shimmy from where your house resides. You’d go to the park, right? Right.
As you can see, Penelope thought it was a dreadful idea. We practically had to drag her out of the car. ;)
Aside from a few fishermen, we were the only ones in the entire park. The girls enjoyed the freedom to run wild (or walk at a turtles pace).
…and she’s down…
I received a stern, “I do it myself, okay Mama?”
I took a moment to pick through the gravel, making sure to collect every piece of my shattered heart.
The swing, definitely the favorite amongst the Rogers.
Mae and Rae, the one stop shop for all of your rock needs. We have large rocks, teensy rocks, white rocks, brown rocks, painted rocks, sparkly rocks, dull rocks, clean rocks, dirty rocks….
Until next time, Meramec!
