Henry gardening.
I am quickly bored with a game of hide and seek. A game of sardines in a vacant church at two a.m. with thirty teenagers, yes. Hide and seek in a small house with a three year old who picks the same spot every time, not so much.
Henry doing illegal car stunts.
Anyway, in an effort to drift away from typical hide and seek, I created a new game. One that involves Mommy placing Henry and Margot in various places doing silly things and Penelope trying to find them.
Margot choosing which Christmas movie to watch.
Margot grabbin’ a cup of water.
Henry “mug climbing”. No harness, such a brave little rabbit.
Romantic horse ride through the living room.
Site-seeing.
Margot just scored 600 in Farkle!!
You get the idea.
It is so much fun. I’ve noticed a lot of people are doing the elf on the shelf thing, more than in past years. I find it creepy and most kids I know do to, so this is an in-broad-daylight activity and so far she finds it delightful.
Any ideas on where to put them next?
