THAT TIME I SAID YES TO WATCHING 5 TODDLERS / PART TWO

Leo asked Penelope if she wanted to play soccer in the living room. Penelope plays soccer inside all the time, but that many kids + a pretty day seemed like a better fit for going outside. Leo wanted to stay inside and play Play-doh and watch Daniel Tiger, so the rest of us went outside.

They made great use of this portion of our yard! They all enjoyed running, but Teddy B. was not so good at it. He usually followed behind the others at a steady powerwalk and still fell occasionally. That kid is adorable!

Audrey’s boys are obsessed with Black Beauty. He just rolls with it, and after they pick him up every which way and pull his tail, he still follows them everywhere. :)

Teddy B. also loves  having his picture taken!

Getting the kids to work their way back up the hill was like herding squirrels!

“You guys want to see the chickens?!?!” worked like a charm.

The boys were even more fascinated with the chickens than they were with Black Beauty – especially Samuel. They stared for about three minutes and then we fed them tall grass for about five. Black Beauty showed up, so everyone chased him to the porch!

Penelope told everyone to sit on the edge so we could take a picture. Ha! This photo is noticeably missing a Leo. :(

Leo was ready to go outside as soon as we walk through the door, so we bargained and ate supper outside. I’m so glad they like it here! The girls and I can’t wait until they can come back! (and Zack, he really wanted to be here with us.)
